Press Release

BALTIMORE – February 1, 2011 – Retirement Living TV (RLTV), the only network dedicated to adults 50+, and the National Cable Television Cooperative (NCTC) announced today that they have reached a carriage agreement for distribution by NCTC member systems.

RLTV features original television series and specials built on partnerships with leading organizations in the fields of aging and media. RLTV has over 1,000 hours of original programming on health, finance and other issues important to mature adults. NCTC’s new partnership represents a commitment to serving adults 50+, which is now the nation’s largest, and fastest growing, demographic.

“The NCTC is proud to support the efforts by RLTV to bring important and targeted programming to an audience that comprises 80 million Americans. We are pleased to offer this quality, specialized information and entertainment to our members and their customers,” said Frank Hughes, NCTC’s Senior Vice President of Programming.

“NCTC’s addition of RLTV marks an important step in RLTV’s effort to bring relevant and valuable content and information to many more homes. We are grateful for NCTC’s support and belief in our target audience,” remarked Paul FitzPatrick, RLTV’s COO.

FitzPatrick added, “RLTV’s additional distribution is also important to advertisers seeking to maximize their exposure to this market and those who have yet to tap into it. These consumers constitute a large, multigenerational population and a growing market boosted by aging baby boomers. Their priorities include health, finance, investment, retirement, and buying savvy - and these issues have grown exponentially important at a time when the national economy has suffered. RLTV understands this dynamic best and leads the way in reaching these adults.”
