RLTV JOINS COMCAST AND N4A TO ADVANCE MAJOR 50+ BROADBAND INITIATIVE AND WILL PRESENT AT THE 34TH ANNUAL N4A CONVENTION

Baltimore, MD – July 17, 2009 – Retirement Living TV (RLTV), the only network dedicated to adults 50+, has taken its relationship with the National Association of Area Agencies on Aging (n4a) to the next level by partnering with Comcast to participate in the 34th Annual n4a Convention beginning on July 19th. The convention brings over 800 directors and senior staff member from the nation’s “area aging organizations” (AAAs) to Minneapolis, MN. These AAAs, along with the over 230 Title VI Native American aging programs, provide critical services and resources to older individuals.

The needs of 50+ communities that span from basic healthcare to transportation to employment resources will be complimented by the comprehensive broadband platform developed by the RLTV-Comcast alliance. “With Congress, the Administration, the states, and private stakeholders at the crux of the health reform policy debate, the n4a convention couldn’t be more timely,” said Brad Knight, CEO of RLTV. “Our broadband initiative will be the gateway to better delivery of the services provided by the many agencies on aging – from basic information to health IT. We are excited about what we can bring to the communities.”
