For decades, Walter Cronkite was "the most trusted man in America" and in the fall of 2007 this icon of American journalism returned to the airwaves, appearing exclusively on RLTV with Cronkite Commentaries. With an introduction by Katie Couric, anchor and managing editor of "CBS Evening News," Mr. Cronkite provided viewers with his unique perspective on national and global events as well as vital issues of the day. Always cognizant of the pulse of the nation, Mr. Cronkite's commentaries ran the gamut, taking on such hot button topics as the environment, the 2008 Presidential election, foreign policy and healthcare. In the video clips above, you will find a selection of our favorite "Cronkite Commentaries" as well as Walter Cronkite’s very last on camera editorial appearance in the commentary "Iraq."
