About the show
From the people who deliver hot meals to over 6 million seniors a year, to the flavorful recipes that viewers can easily make on their own, Good Food, Good Deeds dishes out helpings of health, education and inspiration in equal measure.
Produced in partnership with the Meals On Wheels Association of America, Good Food, Good Deeds is a lively, transformative half-hour series combining the excitement of a cook-off and the poignancy of real-life drama -- all underscored by the urgency of a health crisis threatening over 6 million seniors daily.
Each episode also whips up a side dish of food and soul. Every week Florence Henderson and nutrition expert Joy Bauer will show viewers how to shop for, cook and serve dishes that both nourish the body and delight the taste buds. Take one part cooking show, one part real-life drama, a dash of star power, a generous helping of heart -- and serve warm.
The generous support of the Merck Foundation, our premier sponsor, has made the first Season of the Good Food, Good Deeds series possible.
